Construction manager

A construction manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects from beginning to end. They are responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Construction managers are responsible for managing and coordinating the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and other professionals involved. They must have a strong understanding of utility industry, as well as knowledge of safety regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are important for this job.

Shop is in Sugar Grove, job sites range across northern Illinois, some travel possible. We work 5 days per week in all reasonable weather conditions.

Union scale base, with the opportunity to exceed scale depending on experience and performance

We are IBEW 196. Full benefits and pension after 60 days

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening

Local help only, no per diem or hotels provided unless work is outside of our regional area
