Field technician

A field technician, also known as a service technician, is responsible for providing on-site technical support and service to customers. They may install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems, troubleshoot problems, and perform tests and inspections. Field technicians may work in a variety of industries, such as telecommunications, HVAC, security systems, or medical equipment. They must have strong technical skills and be able to use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose and repair problems. Good communication and customer service skills are also important, as field technicians may need to interact with customers and explain technical issues in a clear and understandable manner. Field technicians may work for companies or organizations that provide technical services, or they may be self-employed as independent contractors.
